Heartopia
After a highly anticipated pre-registration campaign, Heartopia has officially launched globally on iOS, Android, and PC (via client). Developed by XD Games—the team behind the popular TapTap platform and titles like Torchlight: Infinite—the game enters the competitive cozy simulation market with a distinct focus on high-freedom building and multiplayer social interaction.
Within 24 hours of release, the title reportedly reached the #1 Top Free Game spot in over 50 regions, signaling a strong appetite for a high-fidelity alternative to established genre giants.
Unlike many mobile service games that gate progress behind aggressive energy timers, Heartopia markets itself on a “slow living” philosophy. While there are resource management elements, the core gameplay loop emphasizes freedom, allowing players to engage in activities without hitting a hard “pay-to-play” wall.
Alongside the launch, XD Games revealed its post-launch roadmap. The game’s first major seasonal event, “Winter Frost Season,” is scheduled for late January, introducing ice skating and snow-themed furniture.
More notably, the developer confirmed an official collaboration with My Little Pony, set to begin in February 2026. The crossover will introduce themed outfits, vehicles, and exclusive items featuring the “Mane Six.”
